H-1 Alloy Cast Magnesium Anodes
For Economical and Effective Protection
In low resistive soil (under 2000 Ohm-com ),XCTAT H-1 alloy anodes are the most economical choice ,they are cast according to ASTM ,this unique composition guarantee even current output and efficient protection .The anodes are supplied in 3 quality grades ,all of which produce an open circuit potential -1.57~ -1.62v (with respect to Cu/CuSO4 reference electrode)
Application
Because the anodes have a lower driving voltage than high potential anodes, they are ideally suited for structures in low resistive soil without concern of over protection .Meanwhile; their lower current output allows operating longer than high potential magnesium anodes.
Prepackaged Anodes
XCTAT prepackaging anodes are packed in cotton bags in low resistivity, quick wetting, prepared backfill consisting of 75% hydratred gypsum, 20% bentonite,and 5% sodium sulphate.
Cable: XLPE/PVC, HMWPE, THHN/THWN. Diameter ranges from 6 mm2 to 25 mm2 and welded to the steel core.
Cable connection is covered by epoxy or coal tar enamel.
Anodes and backfill are packages in heavy-duty cotton bag and protected by plastic bag.
